Groomies Notes

Welcome back to the notes section after the re-vamp of the site and special thanks to Sam Bushell of the under 15s for all his help and expertise.

Since the last notes this section has really expanded and I would like to to welcome and introduce the new teams and managers along with the existing teams.

Introducing at under 16 Kent youth is Ricky Bennet and under 15 Andy Eiffert at Bexley League Under15 we have Dave McDonald and coach Jack Parkinson,under 12 Green Terry Groom,Under 12 White Steve Nobbs,Jimmy Skelly and Brian Cox,under 11 Dave Donovan and Danny Dawkins,Under 10 Tom Kelly and Under 9 Stuart Long and goalkeeper coach for the Junior Section Danny Burke

A great night and really well supported from all sections of our club particularly the juniors

There are still quite a few players who have not yet read, signed and returned their code of conduct. Please make sure you do and return to your manager.

If anybody who knows anybody who would like to sponsor any of the teams it would be really appreciated

Please wear club tracksuit and club polo shirt to and from the games on Sunday as it is a club rule. Do not warm up or train in the club tracksuit. , Do not keep on green football shirt after the game. The whole club abides by these rules from 1st team down.

Many thanks to Ed da Ball for his excellent match reports for the Greens last season. If there is any budding John Motsons for the Blues and Whites please step forward as it’s always nice to know how all of the teams are doing. Also if anybody could forward me appearance details and goal scorers that would help me keep all the statistics. We are failing badly on this one!!

I must thank you all for not parking in the road by the school. It is much appreciated by the local neighbourhood as this was part of the agreement for the loan of the pitch by the school.

Also as mentioned in earlier notes and keep mentioning at management meetings I am still waiting for a team shot and if anybody gets the chance individual mugshots, these can be taken by any digital camera and forwarded on to me to update both your web pages.

You are all welcome to come and watch Paul Foleys 1st team on most Saturdays (players passes have been issued for all junior players) also we have under18 under 16 and under 15 Kent youth teams playing on a Sunday managed by Harry McGuinness,Ricky Bennett and Andy Eiffert try to watch some of the players of the future or try Jo,Tracey,Nicola and Annabels tea bar on a Sunday.
